Install Pheno

Add the extension, open any Horse Reality horse, and the coat-colour panel appears on the right edge of the page.

Pheno is live on the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chromefor a one-click install — you'll get automatic updates and no developer-mode banner.

Using it

  1. Go to Horse Reality and open any horse's profile page (a URL like https://www.horsereality.com/horses/<number>).
  2. A gold "Pheno" tab appears on the right edge of the page. Click it.
  3. A panel slides in with the horse's coat-colour info — recognised colour, base, full genotype, hidden modifiers, what it can pass on, and inbreeding info.
  4. If the horse is yours, the Coat add-onssection has toggles for traits Pheno can't confirm on its own (sooty, flaxen, hidden sabino, etc.). Your choices save automatically and sync to anyone else viewing the profile.

Updating

Updates install automatically — the next time you reload a Horse Reality page after a new version ships, you're on it.

Privacy

The genetics panel reads what your browser already shows you. Saving horses to your collection uses a free account, and usage analytics are opt-in. See the full privacy policyfor exactly what's collected.
